Failing doesn't mean never ...

Well, it's been a roller coaster of emotion and challenges since we first started this endeavor, but perhaps we've finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel.
We failed to get things going last year due to COVID restrictions and border closures, eliminating any help offered by the Mid North Region.
Failing doesn't mean never though. We are still determined to get this chapter started and running, and we believe we will get our first taste of NSTRA in Manitoba (and Canadian Prairies) this year now that the border has reopened. That said, anything can happen with new variants of COVID being detected and spread - so far though, it seems that the government has resolved to keep things where they are at without regressing on the restrictions.
More than ever, we NEED VOLUNTEERS to make this happen. Volunteering doesn't mean you won't be able to run your dogs, especially if we get enough volunteers. It just means that when you're not running a dog in the field, you're helping out. We're going to get help from the Mid North NSTRA Chapter in ND, SD, and MN ... but we need a sustainable volunteer and competitor base here in Manitoba to make it work.
Please email us at cpr.nstra@gmail.com if you're interested in helping out!
Hope to see you this year!!
